Mission
At Imbola Literacy Bright Futures, we aim to transition struggling readers into confident, avid readers who can understand and engage with texts in both English and Xhosa. Our holistic approach not only focuses on the learner but also actively involves parents and guardians to create a supportive home environment that fosters literacy development.
Founded on the principles of community engagement and support, Imbola Literacy Bright Futures is the continuation of a successful reading club established over 20 years ago. Our experience has shown us the profound impact that literacy can have on a child’s life, and we are committed to making that impact available to every child in need.
